Solace in the WindSolace in the Wind, the iconic sculpture of a naked man with his arms flung back into the wind looking out into Wellington’s waterfront.Artist Max Patte created the sculpture at the Oscar award-winning Weta Workshop where he worked at the time. The two-metre cast-iron statue encourages calm contemplation and reflection in a place where Max would come to lose himself in thought and find solace.
